Content
- Use the relevant Word template for your volume, which differs depending on the publication type (i.e. a single volume for two parts or separate volumes).
- The section and page breaks should help keeping the formatting and pagination intact; follow the tips for using the formatting features of Word.
- The content list is formatted as a table; make sure to keep the formatting uniform while adding new lines to the table.
- Before finalizing the content list, check if the font sizes and the formatting of the cells are uniform throughout the table.
- Add/remove other lists (tables, figures, etc.) as necessary.
- Save the file and name it following the example structures: “Contents_CMO1-I-11a_Transcription” / “Contents_CMO1-I-11b_Commentary”.
- Convert the Word file to PDF and close it.
- Open the PDF of the frontmatter that you prepared with additional metadata.
- Add the PDF of the (content) list to the end of the frontmatter and save the file and name it following the example structures: “CMO1-I-11a_Transcription” / “CMO1-I-11b_Commentary”. This will be the main file to which you will be adding following sections and chapters.
